American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Cardiac Med Unit position requiring 2 years of PCU and cardiac experience with NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

• Cardiac Med Unit within a 36-bed progressive care unit
• Patient ratios of 4 to 5:1
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, potentially to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the primary facility
• No on-call responsibilities

• Active FL or compact RN license
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Cardiac unit experience required
• Degree from an accredited nursing program or 5 years of experience required
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

• Provide nursing care within a cardiac progressive care setting as part of a collaborative care team
• Travelers are expected to fully integrate and function as core staff
• Must reside within a 50 mile radius of the facility, with strict verification of residency and property ownership
• Orientation begins on a Friday with remote components, though candidates must be present in the area on Friday for badge and
• All requested time off must be submitted prior to consideration, as RTO will not be approved after offer
• Candidates must secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from outside the region
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documentation
