American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care/Trauma Step-Down unit position requiring 2+ years of PCU experience and ACLS/NIHSS certification.

• Work in a Trauma Progressive Care (Step-Down) unit
• Patient ratios of 4 to 5:1
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• EMR:
  Epic
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized for floating, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes

• Active FL or compact RN license required (recent Nursys verification required)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Accredited nursing degree must be documented, or 5 years of acute care experience required in lieu of accreditation
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Required documents for consideration: SS card, DL, COVID and flu documentation

• Travelers are expected to fully integrate and function as core staff within the unit
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict verification of residency and property ownership
• Candidates must secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from outside the region
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application, as RTO will not be approved after submission or offer
• Orientation begins on a Friday with remote components, but in-person attendance is required for badge/
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documentation
• No block scheduling requests are accepted
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
