American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care/Med-Surg Telemetry position requiring 2 years of mixed PCU and MS/Tele experience and a FL or compact RN license.

• Med Surg/Telemetry unit (5W) with a home base assignment, cross-trained to PCU
• 36-bed unit with RN patient ratios of 5-6:1
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Floating required to Med Surg, PCU, ED Hold, and other sister campuses
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active FL or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• 2 years of combined PCU and Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Nursing degree from an accredited program or 5 years of nursing experience required
• Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Required documents for consideration: SSN, DL, COVID/Flu documentation

• Deliver patient care across both Progressive Care and Med Surg/Telemetry units as part of core staffing
• Travelers are expected to float first, including to sister campuses located within 15-20 minutes of the home facility
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• All RTO requests must be submitted prior to start of assignment, as no RTO will be approved after offer
• Orientation begins on a Friday, with in-person attendance required for badge and
• Hard document deadline falls on the Monday before start date with no exceptions
• Candidates are expected to secure full-time housing in the area for the duration of the assignment
• Facility seeks flexible, team-oriented candidates who integrate well with core staff culture
