American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 3+ years of PCU experience and at least two prior travel assignments.

• 18-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting with a 5:1 patient ratio
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call responsibilities

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 3 years of PCU experience required
• 2 previous travel assignments required
• Nursing degree must be from an accredited program as reflected on profile, or candidate must have 5 years of PCU experience
• Recent Nursys verification required
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

• Travelers are expected to fully integrate and function as core staff
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel assignment eligibility
• All RTO requests must be submitted prior to consideration, as RTO will not be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documentation
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
• Full-time local housing in the area is expected for the duration of the assignment
