American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 3+ years of PCU experience and two prior travel assignments.

• 18-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a 5:1 patient ratio
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required with recent Nursys report on file
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 3 years of PCU experience required
• 2 previous travel assignments required
• Nursing degree accreditation must be verifiable, or candidate must have 5 years of PCU experience in lieu of accreditation documentation
• Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing

• Travelers are integrated into unit culture and expected to function as core staff
• Orientation begins on a Friday with remote components, though candidates must be onsite for badge/p
• All requested RTO must be submitted upfront, as facility will not approve additional RTO after submission
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict enforcement of this requirement
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documentation
• Candidates should be prepared to secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from a distant location
