American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care/Trauma unit position requiring 2+ years PCU experience and NIHSS certification.

• Trauma Progressive Care/Stepdown unit setting
• Patient ratios of 4 to 5:1
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• EMR:
  Epic
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including possible floating to sister campuses

• Active FL or Compact RN license required with recent Nursys report on profile
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Degree accreditation must be documented, or candidate must have 5 years of acute care experience
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Required documents for consideration: SS card, DL, COVID and Flu documentation

• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate fully into unit culture
• Must reside outside a strict 50-mile radius rule from the facility to qualify for travel assignment, with no property ownership or co-signing within that radius
• No block scheduling requests permitted
• All RTO must be submitted and approved prior to offer; no RTO approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday with remote training, and candidates must be in the area in person for badge/
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start with no exceptions for pending documentation
• Prior travel experience preferred
