American Traveler is hiring a PCU Float RN for a 12-hour night shift position requiring 2 years of PCU experience and FL/Compact RN licensure.

• PCU/ED Hold float position within a hospital setting (no floating to the ED)
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 4 to 6:1 depending on patient mix
• EMR:
  Epic
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Floating required, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call responsibilities

• Active FL or Compact RN license required with recent Nursys report on file
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Nursing degree accreditation documentation required, or 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation documentation
• Must be flexible to floating as required
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

• Galaxy Blue and White scrubs required
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility, strictly enforced
• Candidates may not own or cosign property within the 50-mile radius
• All RTO must be submitted upfront, as facility will not approve RTO after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start, with no exceptions for pending documents
• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate fully into unit culture
• Team player mentality and flexibility are highly valued by the facility
