American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PCU Float position requiring 2+ years of PCU experience and flexibility to float to sister campuses.

• PCU and ED Holding unit within a hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 4 to 6:1 depending on patient mix
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the main facility
• Travelers are prioritized for floating assignments

• Active FL or Compact RN license required, with address matching Board of Nursing records
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Nursing degree accreditation must be documented, or 5 years of experience required in lieu of accreditation
• Must be flexible and willing to float to other units or campuses

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced PCU/ED Holding environment
• Galaxy Blue and White scrubs required
• Orientation begins on a Friday, with in-person attendance required for badge and  if orientation is remote
• All RTO requests must be submitted prior to start and will not be approved afterward
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict enforcement including property ownership checks
• Facility strongly values flexibility, teamwork, and willingness to float
• Travelers are expected to integrate fully with core staff and uphold unit culture
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start with no exceptions for pending documentation
