American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care/Med Surg Telemetry position requiring 2 years of PCU/MS Tele experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

• Med Surg Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit (5W MS/Tele), a 36-bed unit
• Floating required, including to Med Surg units, PCU, ED Hold, and sister campuses
• Nurse to patient ratio of 5 to 6:1
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• No on-call requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 2 years of PCU experience mixed with Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Degree from an accredited nursing program or 5 years of experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Documents required for consideration: SSN, driver's license, and COVID/Flu vaccination records

• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and are fully integrated into unit culture
• Travelers will be first to float, with high likelihood of floating to sister campuses located within 15-20 minutes of each other
• Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required
• All RTO must be submitted upfront, as facility will not approve RTO after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, with in-person badge/t on that day before remote orientation
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start with no exceptions
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and cannot own or cosign property within that radius
• No local candidates accepted
• Candidates must secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from outside the region
