American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2 years of PCU and cardiac experience on 12-hour night shifts.

• Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a 36-bed unit
• Patient ratios of 4-5:1
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call responsibilities

• Active FL or compact RN license required, with driver's license address matching the Board of Nursing address
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Cardiac experience required
• Degree from an accredited nursing program or 5 years of experience required
• Required documents include SSN card, driver's license, and COVID/Flu documentation

• Provide nursing care within a cardiac progressive care setting as part of a team-oriented unit culture
• Travelers are expected to integrate and function as core staff
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility and may not own or cosign property within that radius
• Candidates commuting from elsewhere in Florida or planning to travel home between shifts may not be considered; securing local housing is expected
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to starting and will not be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start with no exceptions for pending documents
• Candidates must be flexible and team-oriented
