American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiopulmonary Progressive Care Unit position requiring FL or compact licensure, ACLS, NIHSS, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

• Cardiopulmonary PCU unit with 31 beds
• Patient ratios of 4-5:1
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• EMR:
  Epic
• Administers drips including Heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Insulin, Lasix, and other anti-arrhythmic medications
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, possibly to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call requirements

• Active RN license (FL or Compact)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant PCU/telemetry nursing experience
• Nursing degree accreditation verification required on profile, or 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Required documents for consideration: SS card, DL, COVID and Flu documentation, full DOB, and SSN

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to qualify for travel rate, strictly enforced
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application, as facility will not approve RTO after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/
• Galaxy Blue and/or White scrubs required
• Strong unit culture; travelers are expected to integrate and function as core staff
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documents
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Local candidates may be accepted if outside the 50-mile radius rule
