American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Oncology Unit position requiring prior oncology experience and FL or compact RN licensure.
Requirements- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
- Chemotherapy certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in oncology specialty required, documented in work history
- Nursing degree accreditation must be noted on profile, or 5 years of experience required in lieu of this
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
- Medical Oncology Progressive Care Unit, 36-bed unit
- Patient ratio of 5:1
- Uses Epic EMR
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
- Travelers are expected to integrate into the unit and function as core staff
- Strong emphasis on team culture, flexibility, and willingness to float
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and maintain full-time housing in the area for the duration of the assignment
- Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and in-person badge/t
- All RTO requests must be submitted prior to starting the assignment, as changes will not be accepted afterward
- Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documentation
- Candidates may only apply to one position at a time
