American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring 2 years of ICU experience with neuro specialty background and NIHSS certification.
Requirements- Active FL or compact RN license
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience with neuro specialty experience required
- Degree accreditation must be verifiable, or 5 years of experience required in lieu of accreditation
- Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required
- Work in the Neuro ICU unit of a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 2:1
- Uses Epic EMR
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
- Provide critical care nursing to neuro ICU patients as part of a collaborative care team
- Travelers are expected to integrate fully and function as core staff
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel assignment eligibility
- All requested time off must be submitted prior to confirmation; no RTO approvals after start
- Orientation begins on a Friday, requiring in-person attendance for badge and
- Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documentation
