American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2 years of cardiopulmonary PCU experience and ACLS/NIHSS certification.

• Cardiopulmonary Progressive Care Unit with 31 beds
• Patient ratios of 4 to 5:1
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Administers drips including Heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Insulin, Lasix, and most anti-arrhythmic medications
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float first, potentially to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience required
• Degree accreditation verification must be provided, or 5 years of experience required in lieu of verification
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

• Galaxy Blue and/or White scrubs required
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility, strictly enforced with verification of property ownership
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, with in-person attendance required for badge and
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documents
• Travelers are expected to integrate fully with core staff and the unit culture
• Candidates must be committed to securing full-time housing in the area for the duration of the assignment
