American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2 years of PCU experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

• 6W Ortho Spine unit within a 36-bed Progressive Care Unit
• Patient ratio of 4 to 6:1
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, with travelers floated first, including possible float to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required, with driver's license address matching BON records
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Nursing degree must be from an accredited program noted on profile, or 5 years of acute care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Required documents include SS card, driver's license, and COVID/Flu documentation

• Deliver nursing care within a collaborative unit culture where travelers are expected to function as core staff
• Candidates must reside outside a strict 50-mile radius from the facility; no local candidates accepted
• All RTO must be submitted and approved prior to start, as RTO will not be approved after submission
• No block scheduling requests accepted
• Orientation begins on a Friday with remote components, and candidates must be in the area on Friday for badge and
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start with no exceptions for pending documents
• Candidates should be prepared to secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from a distant home
