American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2+ years of PCU experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

• Work in a 31-bed Cardiopulmonary Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Patient ratios of 4-5:1
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Administers drips including Heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Insulin, Lasix, and various anti-arrhythmic medications
• Uses Epic EMR
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required, with travelers floating first, potentially to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Degree accreditation verification must be provided, or candidate must have 5 years of experience
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Required documents include SSN card, DL, and COVID/Flu documentation

• Galaxy Blue and/or White scrubs required
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility and cannot own or cosign property within this radius
• Candidates must secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from outside the radius
• No block scheduling requests accepted
• All RTO must be submitted upfront and will not be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start with no exceptions for pending documents
• Travelers are expected to integrate fully and function as core staff
• First-time travelers may be considered
