American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Neuro Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2 years of neuro nursing experience and FL/compact RN licensure.

• Work in a 52-bed Neuro PCU unit
• Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5
• 12hr night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Floating required to both stepdown and PCU sides of the Neuro floor
• Possible floating to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Neuro nursing experience required
• Experience with Cardene and Cleviprex required
• Ability to read EKG rhythms required
• Nursing degree must be from an accredited program on profile, or 5 years of experience required in lieu of accreditation documentation
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

• Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required
• Must reside within a 50 mile radius of the facility
• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and are welcomed into the unit culture
• Travelers will be first to float, including to sister campuses
• All RTO must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, with remote orientation and an in-person badge/t
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start, with no exceptions for pending documents
