Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida works with the community providing support in mission services, retail and donated goods, and business development.


Description of Responsibilities
:
Provide excellent customer service to the stores, admin, and all vendors/donors. Primary duties include moving RAW donated materials, salvage commodities, trash, equipment/fixtures, or other designated materials on/off trucks and sorting them properly within the plant using the Kaizen system. Ensure full compliance with Kaizen guidelines/principles. Assist in all salvage sorting areas and cross-train for other plant duties. Lead areas of operation and assign tasks to Material Handler I's.


Required Experience
:
High School diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of warehouse operations experience, including loading 53', 48' containers, and box trucks. Supervisory experience preferred. Forklift experience desired. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).


Required Skills
:
Sufficient mobility to turn, lean, kneel, or bend. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work flexible hours.
