Donation Door Attendant

Full time - Open Availability - Nights, weekends, and Holidays

Part Time - Nights

Description of Responsibilities

Great customer service skills. Primary duties include the receipt, recording, sorting of donations to effectively process through the Kaizen system. This is a front line position representing Goodwill Industries to the public. Full compliance to Kaizen guidelines/principles as outlined in the audit and 5-minute drills. Other duties included but not limited to: processing, cleaning, customer service, building fixtures/equipment, and all other duties instructed by your immediate supervisors.

Required

Experience
  • High School graduate or its equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in retail and/or stock handling preferred.
Required Skills
  • Must have sufficient mobility to turn from side to side, lean, kneel or bend and stand for long periods of time
  • See and recognize colors
  • Knowledge of basic math skills
  • Lift at least forty (40) pounds on a frequent and continuous basis and occasionally team lift up to 100 pounds
  • May have to occasionally work where temperatures and climate can fluctuate
