Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Fort Myers, FL. The Sales Associate will greet customers, listen to their needs, and provide knowledgeable guidance on jewelry styles, metals, gemstones, and care. Daily tasks include assisting with sales transactions, operating the point-of-sale system, handling returns and exchanges, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves merchandising displays, keeping the store clean and organized, and ensuring products are presented attractively.

Sales Associates contribute to store goals by promoting current offers, suggesting complementary items, and delivering a welcoming, inclusive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and communicate clearly.
• Sales and retail experience, including basic knowledge of upselling, cross-selling, and meeting individual or store performance goals.
• Comfort with point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and basic math for transactions and inventory tasks.
• Attention to detail in product presentation, store organization, and following visual merchandising guidelines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move around the sales floor, and handle small merchandise safely.
• Reliability in scheduling, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Interest in jewelry, fashion, or accessories and willingness to learn about products, materials, and care.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in retail or customer-facing roles is beneficial.
