As a Security Officer - Access Control - Flex at a premier retail mall location, you will monitor entry points, patrol designated areas, and help deter security‑related incidents through your visible presence. • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of individuals, verifying identification and/or credentials as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any security‑related irregularities, suspicious behavior, or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with crowd control during busy periods or special events within the retail environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Collaborate with onsite staff and law enforcement as needed to address security‑related concerns.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
