A Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Key Responsibilities include:

Security Patrol and Observation:

· Conduct regular patrols of both the interior and exterior areas of the hotel property to identify and address potential safety and security risks.

· Vigilantly observe surroundings to detect any undesirable conditions or suspicious activities that may compromise the safety or security of guests and staff.

Emergency Response:

· Take immediate action in response to emergency situations, including but not limited to safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life or property.

· Execute emergency procedures effectively and efficiently to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals on the premises.

Safety Promotion:

· Promote and enforce safe work practices among staff members to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries within the hotel environment.

· Provide guidance and support to colleagues on safety protocols and procedures.

Incident Investigation and Reporting:

· Conduct preliminary investigations into incidents as necessary, gathering relevant information and drafting accurate reports.

· Ensure the completion of all required documentation with precision and attention to detail.

Guest Service:

· Address all guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously, striving to resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner.

· Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor to enhance the overall guest experience.

Night Audit Support:

· Assist the night audit team as needed, contributing to the efficient operation of overnight hotel functions.

Additional Responsibilities:

· Undertake any other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel, demonstrating flexibility and readiness to support various hotel operations.

What you will bring:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4 years’ experience in the hotel/resort security or related professional area.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• CPR/First Aid Certificate.
• AED Certification.
