As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Full Time in Fort Myers, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment within a bustling logistics and distribution location. You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct screening procedures for individuals entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items from entering the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with access procedures and responding to inquiries.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when necessary.
• Monitor designated entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location staff to support a secure and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
