Description
Cornerstone Builders of SWFL is hiring a skilled and motivated Rough Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience framing walls, floors, residential remodeling. We are looking for dependable team players with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Demolition
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications
- Build and install framing components for residential remodeling
- Read and interpret drawings, and project specifications
- Protection installation
- Trenching concrete
- Concrete foundation repairs/slab prep
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensure structures are level, plumb, and square
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Communicate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion
- 2+ years of proven experience as a rough carpenter
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read drawings
- Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and climb ladders and lift up to 50lbs
- Clean driving record, ability to drive company vehicle
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in residential remodeling
