Fire Alarm Service Technician

Responsibilities:

• Test, service, and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, card access, and intrusion systems in compliance with NFPA and NEC codes, with knowledge of system controls, alarm panels, devices, and components.
• Read and interpret system schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and repair system deficiencies.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Use tools properly to complete service tasks.
• Complete scheduled service calls and inspections promptly.
• Participate in on-call rotations for emergency services.
• Maintain a clean and well-kept company vehicle and safeguard tools.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• NICET II and/or state certification (FAST) required.
• At least 2 years of experience inspecting, servicing, or installing fire alarm systems.
• Preferred experience with CCTV, Intrusion, and Card Access systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate computers and read blueprints.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
