In this specialized role, you will support Chick-fil-A restaurants exclusively across a defined local market, ensuring kitchens and facility systems perform flawlessly.

Role highlights

Deliver preventive and reactive maintenance to commercial kitchen and building systems

Diagnose, repair, install, and remove equipment with precision and professionalism

Meet or beat SLAs while communicating status to Operators Service hot-side, sealed refrigeration, specialty food service equipment, and base building HVACHands-on with brands including Henny Penny, Follett, Lennox (HVAC), Traulsen, Hobart mixers, Champion dishwashers, and Garland Grill Coordinate with manufacturers for technical support and part identification; install OEM parts

Consult in real time with the Chick-fil-A Technical Assistance Team when onsite

Maintain meticulous records: work orders, timekeeping, receipts, and truck stock inventory

Organize and care for your service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory

Participate in on-call rotations for emergency after-hours support

Adhere to safe work practices and accident prevention procedures

Engage with partners, suppliers, and vendors; pursue ongoing OEM certifications

Consistently achieve productivity targets aligned with company standards

Qualifications

Technical trade school and/or equivalent practical experience5+ years in a related trade

Proven capability in one or more: sealed refrigeration/HVAC, electrical systems, mechanical systems, process controls, hot-side equipment and/or mechanical power transmission

Background servicing kitchen equipment, facilities, or construction systems EPA Universal Certification Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a clean/safe driving record (MVR required)
Ability to safely operate company vehicles

Strong mechanical aptitude; advanced troubleshooting; able to interpret diagrams/schematics

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and mobile service applications

Excellent written and verbal communication; self-directed; customer-service focused

Creating Preventive Maintenance PlansHVAC/R Systems; HVAC Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Repair Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification Service documentation and workflow

Workplace Safety & EHS Management;
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
Electrical Troubleshooting;
Electrical Systems & Diagnostics (Heavy Equipment)
Electrical Schematic Reading;

100% travel within your assigned local market

Limited overnight travel (primarily for onboarding/training)
Ability to work extended periods during emergency or priority situations (including overtime)
Lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs Climb ladders and stairs up to two stories (ladder safety training provided). Roof access ladders are provided; loading/unloading a large ladder from the van is not typical.

Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, and crawling

Prolonged standing and walking on even/uneven surfaces

Frequent use of arms, wrists, and hands operating tools and machinery

Work indoors and outdoors across varying weather conditions
