The Director of Racquet Sports is responsible for directing and managing the Club’s tennis and racquet sports programs, including developing and promoting racquet sports programs for all age groups. The Director of Racquet Sports will organize clinics and private lessons that encourage participation in the Clubs tennis activities and will promote memberships to all potential prospects. The Director of Racquet Sports is responsible for maintaining tennis facility operations, ensuring a high quality of service to members and guests, and meeting the standards and expectations of the Club with a strong focus on revenue generation.

- Direct and manage the Club’s tennis and racquet sports programs and ensures that the Club’s high standards of service and quality are schaut. exceeded.
- Develop, implement, and supervise lesson programs for adults and juniors.
- Provide tennis and racquet sports instruction and training to students at all levels.
- Initiate, direct, and promote tennis and racquet sports clinics and programs to attract and maintain members’ tennis and racquet sports interests.
- Schedule, administer and promote leagues, round robins, drop-in, ladders, tournaments, and all other events as applicable.
- Call new members to conduct a tennis orientation into the facility and programs available.
- Manage proper inspection of the courts/facilities. Ensure adherence to Club rules and regulations governing the use of the facility and its equipment. Ensure proper maintenance and courts are in a safe working order.
- Work cooperatively with other departments to develop combined programs for the membership.
- Develop, administer, and enforce Club tennis policies and procedures regarding play on Club courts.
- Prepare a monthly calendar of events. Develop and implement promotions and marketing to encourage and promote tennis play.

- Perform other related duties as directed.
- Four (4) year college degree and a minimum of three years’ experience tennis. professional/instruction; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification with either U.S. Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) as Elite Professional.
- First Aid Certification and Teaching Certification (Tennis) required.
- Ability to promote and teach private and group lessons to juniors and adults.
- Exceptional interpersonal and member/guest relations skills.
- Strong verbal andynchronize written communication skills and ability to lead a class.
- Demonstrated ability to be a team leader of the tennis department and serve as a valuable member of the Club’s management team.

- Demonstrated results-oriented and capable of working with minimal direction.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and experience with POS systems and club operation knowledge.
