Material Handler II – Tice

Part‑time position to cover weekends (Wednesday‑Sunday).

Location:

Central Processing Tice, Fort Myers, Florida.

• Provide excellent customer‑service skills to the stores, administration, and all other vendors/donors.
• Primary duties include moving raw donated materials, all salvage commodities/sorts, trash, equipment/fixtures or other designated materials on/off trucks and sorting them properly into the designated locations within the plant via the Kaizen system.
• Comply fully with Kaizen guidelines and principles as outlined in audits and 5‑minute drills.
• Assist in all areas of the salvage sorting process and cross‑train to cover other indicated job descriptions within the plant as needed.
• Lead operation areas and provide assignments as needed for Material Handler I staff.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of warehouse operations experience, including loading 53’ or 48’ containers and box trucks.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Former forklift experience is desired.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).

• Mobility sufficient to turn from side to side, lean, kneel or bend.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work a flexible schedule.

Salary: $17.00 per hour
