Central Supply Clerk​/CNA

The Central Supply Clerk / CNA at NHC Fort Oglethorpe is responsible for maintaining and managing inventory of nursing supplies and ensuring that the facility’s supply chain runs smoothly. This role is essential to keep all departments fully stocked and supported.

• Maintain par levels of all nursing supplies.
• Conduct routine weekly inventory checks and coordinate with vendors to purchase materials as needed.
• Prepare correspondences and claims for damaged merchandise, shipment errors, and other vendor issues.
• Follow prescribed budget guidelines.
• Create and submit a complete billing statement for resident billing to the Business Office.
• Fill approved requisitions for department supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment ordering and stocking procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to track medical supplies and equipment.
• Professional appearance.
• Pleasant and courteous to supply vendors.
• Ability to work with people and various departments.
• Familiar with using a calculator.
• Work independently with little or no supervision.
