Urgent Care Practice Manager – Fort Oglethorpe, GA
Join CRH Healthcare, LLC as the Urgent Care Practice Manager for our new Fort Oglethorpe clinic. The role reports to the Regional Operations Director and is responsible for daily operations, enforcing policies, and managing a single urgent care center. The incumbent coordinates and supervises clinical and front‑desk staff, ensuring an outstanding patient experience. Candidates should have a clinical background and experience managing workflow in fast‑paced settings such as urgent care or emergency departments.
CRH Healthcare is headquartered in Atlanta, GA, and operates urgent care centers seven days a week from 8 am – 8 pm, providing walk‑in care for injury, illness, and minor emergencies, as well as family care.
Primary Responsibilities- Ensure the clinic is open and appropriately staffed during scheduled hours and events; maintain facilities, equipment, and cleanliness.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate center staff, including performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Manage time and attendance records, payroll processing, and monthly staff scheduling.
- Balance the cash drawer, prepare weekly bank deposits, and manage supply inventories.
- Enforce company policies, address performance issues, investigate patient feedback, and resolve service issues.
- Identify community marketing opportunities, coordinate facility maintenance and vendor services.
- Perform front‑end registration and clinical tasks as backup during absences or high demand.
- Prioritize workflow efficiency and patient throughput, expediting patient flow to maximize visit volume.
- Conduct monthly operational audits and review results with the Regional Operations Director.
- Lead by example to drive staff performance and customer service excellence.
- High School Diploma required.
- College Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum five years of healthcare experience.
- Minimum two years of management experience preferred.
- Hands‑on clinical experience as a CMA, LPN, or Paramedic required.
- Familiarity with medical billing systems and terminology required.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and other clinical/administrative duties required.
- Ability to perform front‑desk registration and medical assistant duties.
- Proficiency in PC applications, including training others.
- Superior patient‑service skills for handling escalated issues.
- Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate staff.
- Drive efficient performance to improve wait times and increase patient volume.
