Summary
The Design/Drafter will create detailed technical drawings and plans for manufactured products suited for outdoor recreational spaces - including playground equipment, outdoor fitness, site furnishings, etc.
- ensuring compliance with safety standards and design specifications. Responsibilities include collaborating with Play Core Innovation and various stakeholders across brand teams to develop precise CAD drawings and Installation Sheets, reviewing designs for accuracy, and making necessary revisions. The ideal candidate will have experience in Autodesk Inventor software, a strong understanding of engineering principles and a desire to work with prototypes.
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment are essential for success in this role.

- Associate's degree in Drafting and Design with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Must have strong mathematical and numerical skills
Minimal travel required (less than 25%)
Communication SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety standards, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of employees and customers of the organization.
Reasoning AbilityMust have the ability to timely define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills- Knowledge of Auto Desk Inventor and understanding of how to create 3D models, Auto Desk Fusion preferred
- Knowledge of Auto Desk Vault software helpful
- Extensive computer experience with a basic knowledge of 2D and 3D design and drafting visualization, experience with Solidworks and Auto Desk Fusion a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of 3D printing and file preparation
