Huntsville Hospital Heart Center is seeking candidates for a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Cardiologist to join our practice in Ft. Payne, Alabama. Cardiologists employed in Ft. Payne provide care to patients in our practice and at DeKalb Regional Hospital.

• DeKalb Regional Hospital is part of the Huntsville Hospital Health System with 13 regional hospitals, 2,588 licensed beds, and 17,000+ employees.
• It is a 134‑bed, not‑for‑profit community hospital established in 1986 and became part of HH Health System in 2024.
• Has 1 cath lab with an interventional cardiologist providing diagnostic right and left heart caths, coronary interventions, loop implants, pacemaker and ICD insertions, TEE, cardioversions, imaging modalities including nuclear SPECT, coronary CT, echo and PV studies.
• Inpatient and outpatient APP support.
• Hospital and clinic are across the street from each other—no traveling to multiple hospitals.
• HH Heart Center includes 58 cardiologists across 9 locations, including interventional, structural, electrophysiology, advanced heart failure, cardiothoracic surgeons, and pediatric specialists.
• Annual metrics: 100,000+ clinic visits, 60,000+ non‑invasive tests, 12,500 cath lab procedures, 3,000+ interventions, 700+ STEMIs, 3,200+ EP procedures, 1,400+ cardiothoracic surgeries, 500+ structural procedures (TAVR, Mitra Clip, LAAC).
