Overview

Adoration Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Home Health PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant) to join our team in Fort Payne, AL. Office

Location:

Fort Payne, AL.

Schedule:

PRN.

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient's Plan of Treatment.
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding the patient's plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns.
• Communicates patient s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for the patient to improve function. Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations.

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by the state in which practicing.
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance with state regulations.
• A minimum of one year s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Adoration Home Health / Bright Spring Health Services, an affiliated company, recently acquired certain Amedisys home health and hospice operations and is recruiting candidates for open positions within those operations. The successful candidate will initially be employed by Amedisys until January 1, 2026 at the latest. During this period, Amedisys will perform all administrative onboarding activities and offer benefits coverage under Amedisys employee benefit plans.

On or before January 1, 2026, the successful candidate s employment will be transferred to Adoration Home Health / Bright Spring Health Services. At all times, Adoration Home Health / Bright Spring Health Services will make all hiring decisions and supervise the work of the successful candidate.
