We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team in the turbine generator component factory.
This position is
4th Shift (Fri –Sun 5PM-5:30AM) . Our factory in Fort Payne, Alabama has been producing high-quality electrical components for the world for thepast 37 years. You can expect to work with teammates in a safe, comfortable,climate-controlled environment to manufacture parts for large generators. Thisrole is perfect for individuals with strong hands‑on skills who take pride intheir craftsmanship and are committed to producing top-quality products!
How You Make An Impact
Perform hands‑on assembly, fabrication, and assembly of turbine generatorcomponents.
Utilize various hand tools and machinery to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Followdetailed work instructions and blueprints to ensure precision in manufacturing.
Conduct quality inspections of finished products to meet specifications and standards.
Maintaina clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
What You Bring
High school diploma/GED that can be verified; technical training or certification in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.
Astrong safety and quality mindset is a must.
Anyhands‑on experience in a manufacturing or assembly role, preferably in theenergy sector, is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools and machinery.
Abilityto read and interpret technical drawings and specifications or to learn.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of ateam.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
