Plasman, is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as:
Set-Up Technician
The Set-Up Technician will set-up molds and maintain related equipment of all jobs to maintain daily production requirements responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Mold set-up and maintain mold storage area
- Operate overhead cranes in a safe manner
- Set-up end of arm tooling on robots
- Ensure proper set-up as set out by the Production Supervisor/Lead Process Technician/Process Technician
- Ensure equipment is in good mechanical condition to provide safe operation
- Comply with established rules, procedures and health and safety mandates
Other Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience working with molding presses and have an excellent working knowledge of molds. Preference will be given to candidates who have previous working experience as a Set-Up Technician
- The ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
- The ability to be trained for the above-mentioned responsibilities
