We are currently accepting applications for a Wound Care Treatment Nurse (RN) who will:

• Assess and follow up on each resident's need for and result of treatments in a designated area of the facility.
• Communicate with licensed staff to assess needs and outcomes, ensuring residents maintain functional abilities and prevent skin breakdown, contractures, weight loss, skin tears, etc.
• Provide treatment for ostomies, stomas, acute and chronic wounds, and urinary and fecal incontinence breakdowns.
• Work as a team player with other teams, coordinate treatments with daily events, assist the Nursing Department to ensure care plans are followed, document on records per facility policies, and participate in staff meetings and in‑services. Provide a multidisciplinary approach to ensure continuum of care.

• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Alabama.
• Previous wound care or treatment experience preferred; willing to train and certify (facility will cover costs).
• Wound Care Certified is a plus.
