This position is responsible for interacting with customers and team members, supporting selling initiatives, and performing assigned tasks while providing legendary customer service.

• No experience required; retail and/or pet/live animal knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is required.

• Pet/live animal, pet food, and product knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.

• Indoor environment with moderate noise; outdoor areas with hard surfaces.
• Shifts generally range from 4 to over 8 hours.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment following safety guidelines.

• Non-sedentary position requiring movement throughout the store and outdoor areas.
• Ability to lift or reach overhead, stand, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders.
• Ability to operate store equipment and process merchandise, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Complete training and certification as required.
