Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable CDL Truck Driver to support our field operations in Fort Pierce. This role involves hauling equipment and materials, assisting crews on job sites, and traveling throughout the state (per diem provided). The ideal candidate is hardworking, safety-focused, and willing to work overtime when needed.
What You'll Do
- Operate various trucks including dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers
- Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment safely
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep vehicles clean and organized
- Follow delivery schedules and travel routes as assigned
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, dispatch, and jobsite teams
- Adhere to all DOT and traffic safety guidelines
- Support crew operations as needed on job sites
- Valid CDL (Class A or
B) with a clean driving record - Willingness to travel statewide at least 70% of the time (per diem provided)
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
- Willing to work overtime (time-and-a-half paid)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- HAZMAT endorsement
- CIPP steam/boiler system experience
- Concrete mixing, pouring, or finishing
- Carpentry or formwork experience
- Travel required
- On-the-road and on-site role supporting crew operations
