Valiant is looking for a Senior Info System Technician II to join our team! This is a full-time exempt (salary) position, supporting the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) IT Support Contract. The Senior Information System Technician will operate, maintain, and sustain the JRTC Integrated Training Network’s cybersecurity, the Joint Network Node (JNN), Joint Training Experimentation Network (JTEN), Higher Command (HICON), and the Air Force Green Flag East requirement.

• Must possess a basic understanding of structured cabling installation to include termination, labeling, and testing of coax, fiber, and twisted pair cabling.
• Installs equipment used in LAN/CAN/WAN networks, including devices used for voice, video, and data telecommunications such as but not limited to network switches and terminal servers.
• Experience with or basic understanding of test equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure within specified deadlines.
• Comfortable working with other trades and peers.
• May provide guidance and work leadership to less‑experienced technicians.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

• CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
  Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• EDUCATION:
  
  Associate degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment drug screening.
• 3+ years of directly related experience supporting network operations.

• Position:
  Office environment, occasionally outdoors.
• Work Week:
  Monday‑Friday (may vary based on mission requirements)

  8 hour shift (may vary based on mission requirements)
• Overtime:
  As required
• Travel:
  Must be able to travel unaccompanied.
