Heavy Truck Driver

Valiant is looking for a Heavy Truck Driver to join our team!

• Operates large tactical vehicles, buses, forklifts, dually trucks, gooseneck trailers, refrigerated trucks, and UTVs to transport personnel, cargo, fuel, and ammunition over specified routes to local or distant points according to requirements.
• Loads and secures cargo ensuring compliance with Federal, State, Ft. Johnson and Valiant regulatory requirements and vehicle capability.
• Performs operator level inspections and maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Performs various ammunition warehousing duties to include accountability, storage, delivery, and distribution of ammunition.
• Various Aerial Resupply tasks to include pallet building, loading, delivery, and recovery from designated airfields and/or drop zones and parachute recovery.
• Performs other duties in accordance with Mission Support Requirements as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries.
• Individual must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening; will be subject to random drug screening.
• Must be able to work shift work, holidays and weekends.
• Must obtain a HAZMAT CDL and Tanker endorsement within 60 days of hire, as duty requires.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Class A CDL license.
• Preferred: CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsement with no air brake restrictions.

Individual must be able to lift up to 60 pounds, be in good physical condition, and able to work outside.
