About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean to provide academic leadership and collaborative management for its School of Education, Science and Business. The Dean will oversee academic and administrative matters across education, science, business, and adult upgrading programs, while leading faculty and administrative staff and managing the school’s budget. Responsibilities include maintaining academic excellence and integrity, supporting quality post-secondary programming, and developing partnerships that help learners progress to further study or employment.
The Dean will also foster a culturally respectful learning environment and guide organizational change, research development, and teaching and learning initiatives.
Candidates should bring senior academic leadership and management experience, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee budgets, and manage academic and administrative operations. The role calls for expertise in post-secondary programming, partnership development, and supporting faculty research and teaching excellence. Strong collaborative leadership, change-management skills, and a commitment to culturally responsive adult education are essential. The Dean should be able to align programs with community needs and build effective relationships with students, faculty, employers, and partner institutions.
