Location
Fort Smith, Arkansas. This position is fully on-site. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
Job SummaryThe Curriculum and Enrollment Specialist will support the Registrar’s Office with registration and curriculum management for the student information system. The specialist will assist in building class lists, rosters, and generating reports for internal constituents. The focus will be for ACHE’s online graduate programs.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Works closely with graduate admissions officers to process new matriculants.
- Coordinates course creation and maintenance in the student information system and published documents.
- Manages degree sequences/audits in the student information system and published documents.
- Responsible for roster maintenance and distribution.
- Offers registration assistance to academic advisors of ACHE’s online programs.
- Supports the graduation process by processing degree audits.
- Assists with general data entry and record keeping.
- Accurately indexes imaged items for student records.
- Verifies final grades and supports the faculty grade change process.
- Supports departmental email communications and ticketing system.
- Serves on committees as directed by the supervisor.
- Supports the Registrar with recommendations, development, and implementation of policies, processes, and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by the registrar or their designee.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to maintain confidential records.
- Experience in academic record‑keeping or a similar setting.
- Associate’s degree.
- Previous experience at a health professions college or university.
- Previous experience working with privacy laws.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulations, including FERPA.
- Knowledge of college policy and procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of modern electronic student record storage and delivery systems.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to federal and state regulations.
- Time‑management and organizational skills.
- Problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professionalism in all communication.
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple assignments.
- Ability to orally communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills.
- Work cooperatively with colleagues and supervisory staff.
- Understand oral and written information in English.
- Make decisions impacting the work environment.
- Public communication skills for professional representation of ACHE.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Reason, analyze information, and apply judgment to solve routine and complex problems.
- Expertise in negotiation.
- May be required to sit, stand, use equipment, travel, attend events, and lift items as needed.
