Sourcing Analyst III

The Sourcing Analyst III is responsible for making strategic sourcing and material risk management decisions based on determining true market value for the company’s materials and services via a variety of sourcing tools. Ensure the timely implementation of global sourcing decisions by various operating divisions.

This position will serve our US Air Division, located in Fort Smith, AR.

• Lead discovery and implementation of state-of-the-art global sourcing and risk management techniques to drive competitive advantage.
• Collaborate with division operations, engineering and materials management to implement solutions supporting overall objectives.
• Manage relationships with key supplier senior management to ensure sourcing decisions and supplier performance are managed for the best interest of the company.
• Develop written supply contracts with direct material suppliers and risk management providers.
• Prepare and present data analysis to senior corporate staff documenting global commodity strategies.
• Present data analysis to senior company and division staff on global risk management strategies, current market data, and competitive market data.
• Solicit information from division senior managers regarding new technology requirements, service level requirements, and competitive cost pressures.
• Provide direct supervision over sourcing staff: give performance feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
• Serve as role model, mentor, and leader within the strategic sourcing organization.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, materials management, or enterprise systems.
• Experience in strategic sourcing activities related to mechanical components and raw materials.
• Available for occasional travel, including international.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.

• Oracle or other ERP system experience.
