We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman to manage and lead a skilled crew to deliver high-quality paving projects safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality. This person will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

This is a salaried position.#
** Responsibilities
* ** Manage and lead an asphalt crew of construction workers, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress
* Ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality
* Ensure that all crew members comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
* Communicate regularly with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget
* Develop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors to ensure that they are aware of project schedules and deadlines
* Train crew members on safety procedures and best practices
* Manage project resources, including materials and equipment, to ensure that they are used efficiently and effectively
* Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction projects
* Other duties as assigned#
** Qualifications
* ** High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or vocational training preferred
* 3+ years of experience in asphalt
* Strongly preferred:
Previous experience as a Lead Man or Foreman in the asphalt paving industry.
* Should have knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, equipment operation, and safety standards.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
* Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus
* Must be willing to work nights and weekends occasionally.
