Full‑Time Experienced Business Office Assistant – Join Cedar Creek Dental Care, a Heartland Dental Supported Practice. The Front‑Office Assistant will help keep patients smiling and the office running smoothly.

Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am‑5:00 pm & some Saturdays, 8:30 am‑3:00 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients on arrival.
  • Manage front‑office duties: answer phones, check mail/email, communicate with patients and insurance companies.
  • Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
  • File insurance claims, verify benefits, and follow up on outstanding claims.
  • Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivable.
  • Review treatment‑plan fees and payment options with patients.
  • Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
Minimum Qualifications , Experience & Education
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Experience
  • 2+ years in a dental or medical setting.
  • 2+ years with insurance billing and accounts receivable.
  • Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.
Dental Knowledge, Software & Experience
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience.

  • Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically.
