Full‑Time Experienced Business Office Assistant – Join Cedar Creek Dental Care, a Heartland Dental Supported Practice. The Front‑Office Assistant will help keep patients smiling and the office running smoothly.
ScheduleMonday‑Friday, 7:30 am‑5:00 pm & some Saturdays, 8:30 am‑3:00 pm.

- Greet and welcome patients on arrival.
- Manage front‑office duties: answer phones, check mail/email, communicate with patients and insurance companies.
- Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers.
- File insurance claims, verify benefits, and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivable.
- Review treatment‑plan fees and payment options with patients.
- Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years in a dental or medical setting.
- 2+ years with insurance billing and accounts receivable.
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience.
- Collaborative team player in a supportive, family‑like environment.
- Dedicated, dependable, with a positive, service‑oriented mindset.
- Fast‑paced, customer‑centric work experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- Adaptable to changing workflows and team dynamics.
- Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Access to PHI; requires regular HIPAA training and strict protection of PHI.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically.
