Where Is The Work

Designer II

This Designer II plays a pivotal role in creating visually stunning 3D and 2D graphics for control projects submitted by our field offices. By leveraging their expertise in digital tools, they help bring our projects to life. While reporting to a Lead Digital Designer, they may also have the opportunity to work within a dynamic sub‑team led by a Senior Digital Designer.

What

You Will Do
  • Produce designs and documentation utilizing computer design and product life cycle management systems.
  • Document parts and bills of materials.
  • Develop a good working knowledge and familiarity of design and drafting standard practices, methods, and processes.
  • Work from oral engineering instructions or written procedures, schematics, drawings, and sketches.
  • Lead small segments of large projects with responsibility for completion of assignments; exercise sound judgment in recognition of potential design problems; detect and correct own errors.
  • Maintain competency level of computer-aided graphic systems and other applications through company-provided training and materials.
  • Be customer‑driven, innovative, and quality‑minded in performance of all assigned duties.
  • Develop and exercise good communication skills.
  • Maintain awareness and adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Travel to various locations to support products or train other personnel may be required.
  • Receive generalized information and instruction pertaining to assignment from engineers or senior staff. Work direction, content, and accuracy reviewed by engineers or senior department members.
What You Will Bring
  • Associate’s Degree and at least 2 years of work experience using computer-aided graphic solutions is required.
  • Experience in Solid Works, Creo, Inventor, Pro Engineer, CAD or AutoCAD.
Compensation

Hourly Pay Range: $22.00 – $45.00
