The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, at Fort Smith, AR, is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician.
Highlights of this opportunity:
- Potential starting base salary range: $200,000-$250,000
- Permanent full-time position
- Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm schedule
- Records history and physical examinations from clinic visits
- Evaluates, consults, develops diagnosis, and manages the primary care panel of patients
- Enters progress notes in the electronic medical record and completes workload documentation promptly
- Orders diagnostic tests, medications, and laboratory tests as medically relevant
- Develops treatment plans based on accepted protocols
- Prescribes medications according to approved formulary, complying with Federal and State Law
