Mercy is recruiting an additional OB/Hospitalist to meet growing demand at Mercy Hospital – Fort Smith, Arkansas. Our hospital covers an extensive patient population of nearly 500,000 lives and is the regional leader for obstetrics and infant care.
We are looking for a provider passionate about providing exceptional care in a supportive and well‑equipped environment.
Responsibilities- Handle 220-270 births per month; laborists manage 30-50 cases and CNMs deliver about 10%.
- 24‑hour shifts dedicated solely to L&D and the OB Emergency Department, with no responsibilities for general floor, GYN, or main ED.
- Work in two dedicated ORs on L&D, with access to main OR rooms if needed.
- 24/7 support from in‑house anesthesia and neonatology;
Maternal‑Fetal Medicine available virtually around the clock. - Collaborate with a team of 10 local OBGYNs (9 integrated/employed); expect a net increase of one OBGYN in fall.
