Description:

One of the cardiovascular surgeons is on extended medical leave and will not be cleared to return for an unforeseen amount of time.

Another surgeon can only work 5-7 days per week.

Having the option to have two to three surgeons to pick from will help with coverage.

We are the only facility in the region supporting a catchment area of approximately 500,000 patients.

Pending patient volume, the locum may need to see some patients in clinic as well.

The physician will be on call for cardiovascular surgical patients, either urgent, emergent, or outpatient.

Depending on volume, the physician may need to see patients in clinic for less than 10 hours per week.

The facility requires physicians to be board certified.

Credentialing timeframe is estimated to take 90 days.

Preferred specialty skills include general surgery, laparoscopic surgery, trauma, vascular surgery, and several additional procedures.
