Position
Adjunct Faculty – Workstudy Position at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.

Job Responsibilities- Teach in one of the following subject areas as assigned:
Accounting, Banking, Business Analytics, Business Ethics, Business Law, Corporate Finance, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Human Resources Management, Information Systems, Investments, Logistics, Management, Marketing, Personal Finance, Project Management, Sales, and/or Supply Chain Management. - Deliver classroom and online instruction in the manner requested by the department.
- Assess and evaluate student learning; maintain course outcomes and content through diverse teaching/learning styles.
- Respond to student inquiries and maintain a positive, collaborative work atmosphere.
- Use technology effectively in teaching.
- Attend all scheduled classes and maintain consistent on‑time attendance.
- Other duties as assigned by the department head.
- This is a pool position. Applicants will be contacted as positions become available.
- The position reports to the department head.
- Master’s degree in the discipline or related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credits in the subject area.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Current knowledge of the relevant discipline.
- Good organizational skills and timeliness in responding to student inquiries.
- Ability to address needs of learners from diverse backgrounds in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to deliver course outcomes and content through a variety of teaching/learning styles.
- Ability to use technology effectively in teaching.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with students and colleagues.
- Background check requirements include criminal background check and motor vehicle registry (MVR) check; other pre‑employment screening may be required.
